As her film ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ has timed 26 years in Hindi film, entertainer Kajol went for a walk through a world of fond memories and shared a couple of photos from the film. The film completes 26 years on 27 March 2024.

Kajol took to Instagram on Wednesday and shared three pictures from the 1998 lighthearted comedy.

Released in 1998, ‘Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya’ was a romantic drama directed by Sohail Khan. It was the one and only collaboration between Salman and Kajol as a pair, after having starring in films such as ‘Karan Arjun’ and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. The film revolved around Muskan, Suraj and her brother Vishal Thakur. To get her brother to like him, Suraj does everything to win his heart. The film became the fourth highest-grossing film of the year.

Kajol took to X where she shared a series of minutes from the film including Salman Khan, Dharmendra and Arbaaz Khan. She stated: “When tying ur hair in a plait was an image of an honest young lady #26yearsofpyaarkiyatodarnakya @BeingSalmanKhan @SohailKhan @aapkadharam @arbaazSkhan.”

The primary picture highlights Kajol and Salman looking affectionately into one another’s eyes. While Kajol looks flawless in a white ethnic gathering, matched with white studs and a mesh, Salman wore a dark and yellow coat, with a cool hair styling. The second picture exhibits a mournful Kajol with Dharmendra, who also looks miserable. The third and last picture features Kajol applying tilak on Arbaaz’s brow. Kajol is wearing a red and white ombre ethnic outfit, while Arbaaz is wearing an insignificant white kurta.

In the subsequent still, Kajol, wearing a similar garments, is crying on the shoulder of Dharmendra, who is in a blue denim shirt. The veteran entertainer played her dad in the film.

The third picture sees Kajol, wearing a concealed pink-orange salwar suit, applying tilak on the brow of Arbaaz, who’s found in a white kurta and long hair. Arbaaz played her sibling in the film.

Kajol is in a throwback mode. Days after announcing the re-release of her 1993 hit Baazigar, the actor has now shared pictures from her 1998 movie, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. The images also feature her co-stars from the Sohail Khan directorial – Salman Khan, Arbaaz Khan, and Dharmendra.
